The Buzz took a senior citizen to the Century Casino yesterday to try the special: lunch for seniors for $1. This is always thrilling - only free is better than a dollar. But we're also skeptical, there's been some horror stories lately. They only serve on dish so if you like that, you're in luck. The feature was a braised short rib with mashed potatoes and string beans plus a drink (non-alcoholic but it's lunch so fine). IT WAS GREAT! Delicious and tender short rib, real mashed potatoes, and a vegi. Served by the nicest waitress who took very good care of us.
So, well feed, we went off to find video poker. For seniors, the stairs at the Century throughout pose navigation problems. But my senior loves the Century. The Buzz does too - hitting a royal never hurts :) It has to be said: Womacks was a great name!
Hey Senior Citizens - makes plans and we'll see you next Wednesday at the Century! Chicken Cordon Bleu is on the menu next.
